Monroe Housing Authority (MHA) along with the Monroe Police Department distributed Care Packages to all residents that included supplies such as masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and more.

West Ridge RAD Conversion Plans
Monroe Housing Authority (MHA) is in the process of completing its first Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) conversion. Plans are being finalized for the conversion of 33 units located in West Ridge (Boyte and Hart Streets) from Public Housing to Project Based Vouchers (PBV). West Ridge residents have participated in information sessions and planning and are excited about the upcoming remodeling of units and RAD conversion. MHA has plans to convert its entire Public Housing portfolio to PBV.
YWCA Grab N Go Packets for Homework
MHA donated sweet treats to the YWCA at Willow Oaks for their "GRAB N GO PACKETS." Every week the teachers at the YWCA gives students homework and when the student returns their homework back to the YWCA and the student receives their packet of delicious goodies. Thank you to the YWCA for continuing the learning even through the summer and making it fun!
