Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide Detector Replacements
Please be advised MHA has contractors scheduled to replace all smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors in every apartment within every community. You will receive a notice of the day the contractors will be entering your unit.
Free Wi-Fi and Internet Access for Students
As part of ongoing efforts to make sure students are able to work in a remote environment, UCPS is parking Wi-Fi enabled buses in designated locations and creating community hotspots. Buses will be parked at the locations below Monday - Thursday, 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and on Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Atrium Health to Provide FREE Mammograms
Monroe Housing Authority is partnering with Atrium Health to provide FREE mammograms.
We just need some information so we can make this happen:
- Do you have a primary care provider?
- How many would be seen from your household?
- Do you residents have health insurance?

Thanksgiving Food Boxes
Wayne Morgan, a landlord that owns several properties in Union County, provided MHA food boxes for MHA families to have a Thanksgiving Feast! Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Morgan for your donations.
Sensei Cuisine Food Delivery
Sensei Cuisine, founded by Denmar Chambers, provided over 200 meals to our communities here at Monroe Housing Authority during the pandemic. All residents were provided with not only hot delicious meals but also beverages. Thank you for your partnership and serving our communities through these troubling times.
Santa Claus Delivering Care Packages
Residents of the Monroe Housing Authority were greeted by the staff with the help from our friend Santa Claus delivering care packages consisting of face mask, hand sanitizer, antibacterial wipes and assorted fruits.
Door Decorating Contest
