Reading Program
YWCA's Youth Programs serve hundreds of children in grades K-5 in 8 Youth Learning Centers throughout Mecklenburg and Union Counties. We support children in their schoolwork while offering instruction and engagement grounded in historically responsive literacy (HRU. HRL cultivates the genius within students and creates spaces of empowerment and confidence.

Free Summer Support

In addition to literary activities. Students enjoy a variety of enriching activities and daily nutritious snacks. 

Hours of Operation

Monday - Friday 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM (after school)
Summer Sessions & Teacher Workdays: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
