Donyelle Coalson Joins Monroe Housing Staff

Donyelle Coalson - Human Resources Coordinator.

MONROE, NC --- Donyelle Coalson recently joined the staff of Monroe Housing serving as Human Resources Coordinator. In this role, Coalson will coordinate hiring, onboarding, training, manage payroll, administer employee benefits and safety programs.

Originally from Charlotte, Coalson relocated to the Monroe area in 2007. Coalson holds a BFA in Design from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.

With 24 years of experience, Coalson brings her HR, Accounting and Property Management expertise to the agency. Prior to re-joining Monroe Housing, Coalson served as the Accounting Manager for Monroe Housing Authority. In this role, Coalson performed accounting responsibilities such as General Ledger maintenance, Banking, Payroll, Accounts Payable and tax filings). Coalson also previously served as the Office & Property Manager for Barons Company Real Estate. In this role, Coalson leased and managed investment property portfolios and supervised contractors for the maintenance and remodeling of properties.

Coalson has 2 children with her spouse Ryan. During her free time Coalson enjoys travel and outdoor activities in nature.
