COVID - 19 - Update on MHA Operations

MHA Operations as of June 1st, 2020

Effective June 1st, 2020:MHA's office hours will be regular office hours 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Due to COVID-19, MHA's administrative and satellite offices are closed to the public. Appointments and any necessary business will be conducted via telephone and email only. Applicants wishing to apply for housing may do so by logging into our website at www.monroehousing-nc.com. We encourage residents to utilize our website Resident Portal.

Maintenance staff will perform emergency and critical repairs only until further notice. Maintenance staff will make every effort to enter resident units only if absolutely necessary and adhere to social distancing guidelines while performing work.

Annual HQS inspections will be scheduled as usual. 

Monroe Housing Authority cares about the health and safety of our residents, staff, and partners. Therefore, we take the Coronavirus (COVID-19) seriously and are committed to monitoring the recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), as well as our state and local officials. We will make changes and take extra precautions to help us all stay safe and healthy during these unprecedented times.
