Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance, with a focus on residential painting and the ability to maintain equipment and machinery.
This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing a safe and clean environment for our customers and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and building systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and facility staff to achieve goals
- Conduct residential painting projects as needed
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents
- Utilize logic controllers and other specialized tools to perform tasks
- Supervise and mentor junior maintenance technicians
- Demonstrate leadership skills to lead by example and ensure effective communication
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve maintenance techniques and processes
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in residential painting
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
- Ability to weld and perform other physical labor tasks
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Experience with logic controllers and other specialized equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evenings as needed
- Extended hours
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Nights as needed
- On call
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Maintenance: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
